Bigger Marble Run
It was raining today so we stayed in and built this marble run. I broke up a big cardboard box and placed it on the wall with two bookshelves holding up the sides. I then taped the top up with blue painter’s tape. I went around the house looking for different things to use in our marble run. Building a marble run sounds like a daunting task but turned out very fun and easy. You just put things up and drop the marble in and see where it comes out then you connect the next object to it. Here is the first course.
It usually comes out on the right side but depending how you drop the marble in, it might sometimes end up on the left side.
Even though it was mainly me building it, Sean helped by holding paper towel rolls or dropping marbles to test out each step. Sometimes I think I am doing too much and he is probably not learning anything from it but then out of the blue he does something like this:
If you can’t tell, he was putting a whole bunch of marbles in at once and one got stuck in the blue painter’s tape that I used to hold up and position the xylophone. Sean used a piece of scrap paper to stick in the back of the tape so the marbles won’t stick to it if it touches it. At the end of the video, I was pulling the marble out. We left that piece of scrap paper in the contraption and the marbles never stuck to the tape again. My boy is a genius!

That is awesome!!
Yep, Sean’s a genius!
You sure do sound enthused in that first video!
What a smart boy. Sean and I need some play time!
